Common Injection Moulding Materials
ABS is a tough, widely used plastic that suits housings and everyday products. ASA is similar but has better resistance to sunlight, which makes it a good choice for parts used outdoors.
Nylon suits parts that see wear and load, and glass-filled nylon adds extra stiffness and strength. TPU and SEBS bring flexibility and a softer feel, while polypropylene offers good chemical resistance and is found in products across many industries.
For clarity and impact resistance, polycarbonate and Tritan are worth considering. Acetal has low friction, which suits moving parts, and PPS copes with demanding heat and chemical conditions. We also process bioplastics for projects with sustainability goals.
